Vittarthaa has an established and approved BSL 2+ cell culture lab, Virology lab, Microbiology, Histopathology, and small Animal Research facility. Facilities and labs are equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation such as BMG plate reader, Gel Doc, PCR, Cryotome, Microtome, Fluorescence microscope, Stereo-zoom microscope and Inverted microscope with imaging capabilities. On-board we have microbiologists, biochemists, molecular Biologists, both human as well as veterinary pathologists with more than 30+ years of experience. The pathologists have experience in early discovery programs, translational research, xenographic cancer research models, and alternate to laboratory animals, such as fish and C. elegans. Scientists can perform various molecular techniques, surgeries, implantations, and immunohistochemistry. The Imaging facility routinely performs morphometric analysis and special staining for pharmacology and toxicology experiments.
